Al Fresco Style - take out your dinner on the terrace with some of this summers favorite accessories

It is middle of August and I can't see any ending to this warm & dazzling summer I have experienced this year at my beach house in Sardinia. I am so lucky to spend the whole summer here at my favourite island and the best thing is that the season is usually quite long - starting from may until to the end of September/October!

I just love life at this place - long days on the beach,

the amazingly beautiful sea, boat trips, catching up with friends and of course...long evenings sitting on the balcony, looking over the sea, drinking a glass of chilled Vermentino and entertaining dinner guests!

Not only do I have a big passion for food but I am obsessed by styling my little cosy beach house - which is a wonderful fusion of Asian / Nordic / Italian design. Last weekend I decided to throw a little dinner party for the celebration of Ferragosto with the theme in blue. One of my all time favourites is the collection 'Mon Amie' from the swedish Rörstrand - the blue colour & flower shapes gives a good balance to all the white design around the house.
